Garden Details
The entire campus of the church is devoted to sustainable gardening. There is a pollinator garden, pantry garden where food is grown for the food pantry, there is a native plant garden and several meditation gardens.

No pesticides are used. Invasive plants have been removed. Native plants dominate. weeds are pulled by hand and cardboard and newspaper put down covered by mulch.
raised beds are used for the food pantry garden. produce is organically produced.
A native tree, a Shumard oak was planted and blessed by the pastor and dedicated at a Laudato Si' tree. A diversity of native plants are cultivated including trees, shrubs, and flowers.
Food is grown such as lettuces, tomatoes, beans, peas, zucchini, squash, peppers and so on.
The community benefits from the fresh food in the food pantry and the entire campus garden was on the Master Gardener Garden Tour.

More than 150 pounds of food was grown this year, the church campus in used by neighbors as a walking area.
