We welcome parishioners and neighbors who seek space to garden. We provide play areas for the parish preschoolers and gathering spaces for families that live in the area.

Mass is held in the garden at least one time per year. The space serves as a pocket park for a community that lacks any city parks. The community uses the garden space daily for family and kid activities!

Maintenance
Maintenance--gardeners are supposed to help with the common areas that become weed jungles over the season. Never enough hands to tackle and never any budget to hire.
It is a wonderful space for families with young children. The garden is a fenced area that serves as a tiny pocket park for the community. Volunteers added a sand area years ago and it is full of kids throughout the season. Grant funding from a neighborhood organization and volunteers helped add sunshades in 2025 after two shade trees came down in a spring storm. Teachers from the parish school across the street use the space for education purposes.
