Garden Details
The gardens at St. Robert Bellarmine Chapel at George Mason University consist of the Mary Garden and a plot for produce. In the last two years, student members of the Catholic campus ministry have joined the Fruit of the Vine club, which is the chapel’s gardening club. In 2025, gardening efforts included sowing seeds for produce (lettuce, cucumbers, etc.), building trellises for pea plants, and planting flowers such as pansies, marigolds, and hyacinths.
The prayer area, in honor of our Mother Mary, is surrounded by flowers and shrubs. It is a peaceful area to sit on a bench and pray with our Blessed Mother overlooking.
The gardens are located next to the Chapel and behind the manor.
