This contemplative jewel of the Church in America is filled with an awe inspiring monastic church and monastery, gorgeous walks through the prayer gardens, and a welcoming monastic community.

Visitors find the peace of God on this holy ground filled with cloistered walkways that lead to peace filled gardens, paths, arbors and rest areas! Visitors especially love to make a stop at our stone Portiuncula Chapel (Franciscan Little Portion Chapel) and our Charity Chapel designed by architect Albert Skiles inspired by the 18th Century Franciscan Missions of San Antonio yet quite at home in Ozark Mountains. Charity Chapel is filled with beautiful icons from the Ukraine.
