Garden Details
“Our Blessed Mother’s Rose Garden” is primarily a garden of over 550 rose bushes and 475 species of roses. These rose bushes have been donated by people in honor or memory of loved ones. Each rose bush has a marker with the name of the rose, who donated it and who it is in honor or memory of. We also have many other plants and trees of various species and types, such as maple trees, Japanese maples, azaleas, camillas, dogwoods and hydranges, just to name a few. The garden is spread over about one acre with many trails, benches, tables, arches, fountains and more. We also have Sycamore Trail which takes you through a wooded area of Sycamore and Oak trees with a variety of shade loving plants and shrubs. This Garden is not only a place to enjoy the beauty of God’s creation, but also a place of prayer, reflection and meditation.
